Hello, I'm Jacqueline Stowkowy, M.Sc, M.Ed, R. Psych
Jacqueline is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and she is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. Jacqueline has worked for many years in the assessment field, largely focusing on the identification and screening of serious mental illness in youth.
Throughout this work, she has assessed and supported clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, mood, ADHD, learning disabilities, psychosis and psychosis risk. She is also trained in completing comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, and has most recently gained competency in providing therapeutic support to her clients, both individually, and in group format.
As a mom of two young children herself, she is aware of the complexities and challenges that parenting can bring, and considers it a great privilege to be a part of the process that led families to seek assessment or treatment.
Through her genuine care and compassion for others, she fosters a supportive environment that she believes helps her clients to achieve their full potentials.
When Jacqueline is not working, she enjoys being active with her family and friends, travelling, and golfing, but she also is sure to make time to snuggle in for family movie nights.
Take the first step towards confidence and new beginnings.
