Hello, I'm Eve Boguski
Hello! I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.), a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and I provide counselling services for families, children, adolescents, and individuals navigating a range of challenges.
I am fortunate to have over ten years of experience as a classroom teacher in addition to my work as a counsellor and I am passionate about supporting young people and their families. As a counsellor, I often draw on this previous experience to help children and teens build practical skills that can be transferred to the school setting. Key to my work as a counsellor is the desire to help clients learn about their core values, beliefs, and strengths, and how this can shape their experiences. With the right support in place, I believe everyone has the capacity to build resilience, thrive, and find joy, and I enjoy the process of working collaboratively with individuals to co-develop strategies that are meaningful and personalized.
I specialize in supporting children and teens who are experiencing social-emotional struggles including anxiety and depression, concerns related to symptoms of ADHD or autism spectrum disorder, learning differences, and school-related concerns. I take a strength-based approach and work with the family unit as a whole in order to enhance relationships, strengthen the parent-child bond, and improve communication.
Outside of my work, I try to spend as much time as possible with the important people in my life. I have a busy toddler, and he teaches me the importance of finding joy in life’s little gifts, appreciating the present moment, and getting messy. In rare, quiet moments, I enjoy relaxing with my goldendoodle and being creative with art or words.
Take the first step towards confidence and new beginnings.
