Hi! I'm Kristina Jelinkova
Hello! My name is Kristina. I am a Doctoral Resident and Registered Provisional Psychologist currently completing my doctoral degree in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary.
I offer psycho-educational assessment, autism assessment, and therapy for children, teens, parents, and young adults.
I aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment in which each individual feels seen, understood, and empowered.
My approach to assessment is collaborative and strengths-based, focusing on understanding a person’s cognitive, learning, emotional, and social development. I work closely with families to explore questions around neurodiversity and provide thoughtful, personalized recommendations that highlight each person’s unique abilities and support their growth.
In therapy, I support each person and their unique strengths and needs. I believe that compassion, collaboration, and a strengths-based approach to mental health best support one’s wellness goals.
Originally from Slovakia, I have called Alberta home for the last 20 years. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new board games, travelling with my loved ones, and cuddling with my cat.
I Offer:
Take the first step towards confidence and new beginnings.
Whether you’re a parent or an individual looking for positive transformation and growth, Koru Family Psychology is here for you.
