Hello, I'm Keely!

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Under the supervision of Dr. Caroline Buzanko, I conduct psychoeducational assessments and interventions for children and adolescents.

I completed my Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology in the spring of 2023. Prior to graduating, I completed my pre-master’s internship at Foothills Academy where I conducted psycho-educational assessments and facilitated group interventions. I have experience working with individuals who have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech challenges, and social emotional concerns such as anxiety and depression.

I am very passionate about the assessment process. I believe it’s super important to give students space to share their perspective on how things are going at school, at home, and with their friends. I make a point of asking students how they need to be supported and what strategies they think might work best for them. I also encourage them to ask questions about the activities we do during testing! I am always happy to explain why we are doing certain tasks and what those tasks will tell me about their awesome brain.

In my spare time, I enjoy paddle boarding in the mountains, seeing friends and family, long walks, and playing board games.

Take the first step towards confidence and new beginnings.
