Depression can stop you from doing the things you want to do and interferes with day-to-day life and even spending time with friends and family. You may feel sad, empty, hopeless, anxious, or panicky. Depression can affect your ability to sleep and eat properly and you may feel tired all the time, with no enthusiasm for anything.
Getting therapy for depression is not easy for most people since it is hard for them to take action. However, if you feel demotivated, sad, or hopeless and avoid talking to your loved ones, it is time to ask for help. If left untreated, depression is quite debilitating and even fatal.
