Dr. Caroline Buzanko, R. Psych.
My name is Caroline Buzanko and I am a Registered Psychologist. I have worked professionally with children, adolescents, and adults for over 15 years. I have gained extensive experience working in both the private and public sectors in Canada and abroad. My extensive experience has culminated in my unique ability to work collaboratively with clients to help them define what we hope to accomplish together and to focus on the positive results. In our work together, clients feel empowered and confident to effectively manage life’s challenges and to enrich their quality of life. I provide a safe and nurturing environment to help people confront difficult issues, heal reactive patterns, make choices with improved clarity, stimulate creative ways of thinking, and bring depth and meaning to their lives.
I specialize in the assessment and treatment of adults, adolescents, children, and families. I have particular interests in developmental psychopathology, disruptive disorders of childhood, depression, anxiety, stress management, emotional eating, and parenting issues. I have facilitated a number of therapeutic groups, including social skills, anger management, and parenting support groups. I have also presented a number of workshops on autism, ADHD, and behaviour management across North America and have lectured at the University of Calgary and Athabasca University.
